This Policy applies as between you, the user of the website www.miniila.com and/or the ‘Miniila” mobile application (the “App”) and updates thereof (together, the “Platform”), and Digital Fan Clubs Limited (trading as trellyz), a company incorporated in England and Wales, with company number 08293272, whose registered address is Magma House 16 Davy Court, Castle Mound Way, Rugby, Warwickshire, CV23 0UZ, United Kingdom (“trellyz”, “Digital Fan Clubs”, “we”, “our” and “us”); the owner and provider of the Platform.
This Policy applies to our use of any and all personal data collected by us in relation to your use of the Platform and through other correspondence between you and us relating to the Platform.
1. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
When we use the term “personal data” we mean information that would (either alone or in combination with other personal data) allow someone to identify you.
User Registration. To register as a member of the App, you are required to provide an email address, password, and date of birth. Don’t worry – we are not going to give this information to anyone (not police, not asylum authorities, no one)! And we won’t tell anyone where you are because we don’t know. We just want to show you help closest to you on a map.
Information about your device. Each time you visit our Platform, we may automatically collect the following information:
(a) technical information about your device, including its IP address, web browser type and version, network information (including Wi-Fi networking) and operating system;
(b) details of your use of our Platform, including a list of URLS starting with a referring site, your activity on this Platform, and the site you exit to; and
(c) information stored on your device, including email address, services in the app you have accessed.
Location information. We may also use GPS technology OR OTHER TECHNOLOGY to determine your current location. Some of our location-enabled services require your personal data for the feature to work.
Last, if you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
2. OUR USE OF PERSONAL DATA
We will use your personal data for the purpose of operating the Platform and providing you with the information and services you require in connection with the Platform.
We will further use information about your device for the purpose of improving the Platform and our services, for example by ensuring content on the Platform is displayed in the most effective manner for you and your device.
3. AGGREGATE DATA
We may use your personal data to create anonymous aggregate data. Importantly, this aggregate data will not identify you. We may share this aggregate data with third parties for various purposes. This Policy does not apply, and will not limit, our use of this aggregate data.
4. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
Aid Partners: We will not make your personal data available to NGOs and charities that have partnered with the Platform. These NGOs and charities will be able to reach you through push-notifications in the app but will not be able to reach you individually by email address so you will remain anonymous to all NGOs and charities using the platform.
Affiliates: We may disclose your personal data to other members of our group (which means our subsidiaries, our parent company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.
Service Providers: We may, from time to time, employ the services of other parties for dealing with matters that may include, but are not limited to search engine facilities. The providers of such services may need access to certain personal data provided by you.
Other third parties: We may also disclose your personal data to a third party in the following events:
(a) when we are compelled to do so by a governmental agency, court or other entity (e.g. to respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process) or if requested by a governmental agency or other authority as part of an investigation;
(c) in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets; or
(d) if we or substantially all of our assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
Any personal data that is processed by third parties must be processed within the terms of this Policy and in accordance with applicable law.
5. ACCESSING YOUR OWN DATA
You may access your account at any time to view or amend the personal data. You should modify or update your personal data if your circumstances change.
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data and for a copy of your personal data held by us. We reserve the right to require payment of a small administration fee to meet this latter request.
Data security is of great importance to trellyz and to protect your personal data we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure personal data collected via the Platform. While no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure from intrusion, we maintain commercially reasonable physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your Information. However, regardless of our efforts and the device you use to access the Site, it is possible that third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications over an unsecured transmission.
WE DO NOT SEND EMAILS ASKING YOU TO PROVIDE OR CONFIRM CREDIT CARD NUMBERS, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS OR YOUR USERNAME OR PASSWORD. If you receive such email communication, please forward it immediately to the Site’s Privacy Administrator at privacy- email@example.com, and then immediately delete the fraudulent email from your computer.
The personal data that we collect from you is stored in the European Economic Area (EEA) but may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the EEA – for example a third party to whom we disclose information to has servers outside the EEA.
We will only store your personal data for as long as you use the Platform, unless longer retention is justified (including for example, personal data submitted through a messaging function will be stored by us for up to a year thereafter).
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
trellyz reserves the right to change this Policy as we may deem necessary from time to time or as may be required by law. Any changes will be immediately posted on the Platform and, where necessary, notified to you by email. You are deemed to have accepted the new terms of the Policy on your first use of the Platform following the alterations.
